The TMX Finance® Family of Companies is looking for an Integrated Media Buyer, to be part of a team of creative and strategic professionals who are passionate about drawing audiences closer to the heart of our mission. Through development and management of a multi-channel marketing strategy, you'll successfully expand the Company's online and offline presence while simultaneously driving loan volume. Identify the most effective and cost-efficient way to reach our target audience by keying in on our audience's media habits and preferences across digital and offline channels.

Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize marketing efforts while overseeing all aspects of campaign implementation, such as cost and ROI projections, vendor negotiations, and program strategies.

Manage end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns across TV, OTT, Display, Remarketing, Paid Social, Native and other media channels.

Negotiate with vendors to get the best deal possible in terms of ad placements and cost.

Assist in managing a budget in order to maximize ad exposure and to reach frequency goals.

Reconcile invoices and work with other team members on any cost or budget reporting required.

Uncover new trends and media opportunities within the industry by staying at the forefront of new ad technologies, partners and solutions. As well as any demographic or market industry trends that impact business; develop POVs to share with media team.

Initiate deep and thorough research to ensure fundamental and complex understanding of target audience lifestyle and media consumption habits.

Demonstrate working knowledge of client business, key personnel, marketing and business goals, strategic challenges, competitive set, brand positioning, target audience, market segmentation, marketing strategy, etc.

Participate in development of measurement and analysis plans and project prioritizations.

Monitor campaign delivery on a regular basis to evaluate performance and optimize for top performing creative, vendors, placements and stations.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant offline and/or online media buying or planning experience
  • Intermediate knowledge and implementation of complex omni-channel marketing tactics
  • Intermediate understanding of integrated marketing and lead generation strategies, and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • Must be self-sufficient, self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrate ability to quickly grasp different technologies and easily overcome technical issues
  • Must possess an innovative mindset, with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be flexible and willing to pivot to keep pace with evolving strategies
  • Effective project and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail minded with exceptional organization skills
  • Strong written communications and interpersonal skills that will foster the ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using digital media serving, planning and measuring platforms such as Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics and Facebook preferred.
  • Knowledge in or familiarity with Rentrak and Freewheel/Strata, or other ratings and media buying software
