Manager of Ecommerce

General Description

This position will manage the Lids business on multiple 3rd party ecommerce platforms. They will work to cultivate a solid knowledge of assortment refinement, replenishment practices, alignment with merchandising strategies and analytical skill sets to ensure that the right product is at the right stores at the right time on an ecommerce platform. Develop and implement a robust online strategy with a 3rd party retailer to showcase product on a unique platform that aligns with current Lids standards. Partner with buying and planning teams in executing item/program/category strategies to support financial plans. Own the relationship with 3rd party ecommerce platforms and Lids Sports Group.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Build, develop, execute, and maintain an online strategy with multiple 3rd party partners.
2.    Work with cross functional partners to create and refine a productive and ever-evolving assortment.
3.    Analyze sales trends to ensure inventory is in stock on core items, promotional product, new programs, and seasonal merchandise across multiple locations.
4.    Identify and rectify stock imbalances through the allocation of new receipts and replenishment inventory to maximize the ability to generate sales and margin.
5.    Analyze SKU and program productivity to ensure store turn and weeks of supply goals are met.
6.    Review and analyze distribution center stock position and decide upon action as needed.
7.    Develop optimal store ranking to ensure proper distribution of merchandise
8.    Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through analysis and drive results by transferring knowledge into allocation strategies
9.    Analyze merchandise performance at the department, team, vendor, item and location level; including analyzing store performance and stock-to-sales ratios on a weekly basis to identify location-specific opportunities and bottlenecks.
10.    Communicate / make recommendations regarding needs, distribution concerns, sizing, team and new product opportunities.
11.    Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

1.    Related Experience: 2-5 years’ experience with the Amazon seller platform as well as Shopify, applicant must have a robust knowledge of Amazon practices

9.    Planning and Priority Setting:  Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals 
10.    Process Management:  Can identify and articulate the processes necessary to get things done efficiently and align resources effectively complete activities 
11.    Systems and Tools Acumen:  Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Must also have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly 
12.    Risk Management:  Anticipate risks and identifies contingency plans and processes to prevent disruptions when risks occur 
13.    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Merchandising or other related field preferred
14.    Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
15.    Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs
16.    Sitting required for up to 90% of the work time
17.    Viewing a computer screen for up to 90% of the work time
18.    Operating a computer keyboard for up to 90% if the work time
19.    Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings
