Social & Owned Media Manager

Knack is seeking a Social & Owned Media Manager to join our marketing team. This role will manage the full lifecycle of our social and owned media programs including influencer marketing. This role will also work closely with our merchant partners in developing marketing collaborations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute social media strategies on Knack's existing social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter.
  • Identifying new opportunities to drive brand awareness and media value across both social, influencers and community groups.
  • Plan, own and manage scheduling cadence for social media and influencer programs
  • Identify opportunities for audience, traffic, and engagement growth across all social platforms
  • Analyze performance of our social content and provide weekly insights
  • Working closely with creative team to develop engaging social assets
  • Understand, monitor and predict trends and use them to inform social content and strategy
  • Collaborate with Knack's merchant partners to develop cross-marketing opportunities
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing Knack's reputation and reviews across external third-party sites.
  • Researching competition, investigating benchmarks, and providing suggestions for improvement
  • Keen eye for trends and social experiences that work in the gifting space
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 4+ years prior experience creating owned social media strategy
  • Proven expertise in growing social follower growth and engagement for customer facing brands
  • Hands on experience with social media software tools such as Sprout, HubSpot, is preferred
  • Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on writing engaging social content
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
