Manager of ARRC Field Operations

This role strategizes and executes in the areas of sales, customer service, inventory, operational standards, payroll/expense control, as well as various aspects of Human Resources areas. Collaborates with AVP Director of Store Operations and provides input regarding development of ARRC strategies and defines specific geographic sub-strategies. Oversees the on-going development of the network leadership team and succession planning strategies

Area of Responsibility

  • Oversees and supervises ARRC Field Manager to ensure the overall execution of Company business priorities, including but not limited to sales, Inventory, operational standards, expense and loss control.
  • In collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), oversees and supervises the training and development of new and existing management.
  • Supports direct reports through performance management and associate relations opportunities.
  • Develops and executes plans for retaining effective talent & succession planning.
  • Supports direct reports in ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Identifies and communicates issues, trends, concerns and opportunities to the appropriate Home Office department and ARRC leadership. Partners and collaborates with Home Office and Field Office executives and management to accomplish business priorities.
  • Monitors overall profitability of ARRC P&L including, budget control, loss strategies and all other controllable areas of the P&L
  • Oversees and supervises initiatives supporting other business partners, i.e., Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Transportation, Distribution Services, Sustainability, Legal, Property Development, etc.
  • Initiates & identifies areas of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and productivity


  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work/management experience
  • 10 years, multi-unit management with increased volume responsibility
  • Warehousing experience in inbound/outbound transportation, retail, LP, fulfillment, and recycling experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Profitability, Merchandising, Warehousing, Logistics and Store & Distribution Operations Retail business knowledge.
  • Experience leading teams (virtually) with strong coaching skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Skilled at software platforms, i.e. Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to manage a budget, financial acumen
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to direct and train in ARRC equipment and operations
  • Ability to identify core issues within complex problems and weigh benefits and obstacles when strategizing resolution ideas.

Ability to implement company values, policies and procedures while building a sense of ownership and responsibility with ARRC management teams
