Sr. Treasury Analyst

Position Summary

The key objective of the Sr. Treasury Analyst in reporting to the Sr. Manager, Treasury is responsible for supporting the Corporate Treasury function, including periodic treasury analysis and reporting, monthly interest expense calculations and preparation of other monthly accounting schedules. The role requires a high level of collaboration to work jointly with accounting and finance on specific cross-functional projects including recording general ledger entries and cash forecasting.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Treasury Analyst include but are not limited to:


  • Company Values:

    • Complies with all Williams Scotsman Mobile Mini Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies EBITDA Performance, Revenue Growth and Efficient Use of Resources
  • Cash Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare the daily position file for all US and Canadian entities.
    • Prepare daily cash journal entries.
    • Prepare weekly updates to the 13-week cash forecast and analysis and identify areas of funding overages or shortfalls.
    • Prepare weekly Treasury Cash Debt file.
  • Debt
    • Prepare and maintain Bond Interest Schedule and support. Track monthly interest and prepare documentation for periodic bond interest payments. 
    • Prepare and maintain ABL Interest Schedule and support. Request and track weekly borrowings, repayment and continuations of the ABL revolver. Record interest expense and other fees on a monthly basis.
    • Prepare and maintain Intercompany Loan Schedule and support. Coordinate need for new loans with Tax, Accounting and Legal departments.
    • Prepare and maintain schedule and support for the Company’s Letters of Credit program. Coordinate with Risk department for periodic updates to the program.
    • Prepare and maintain Interest Rate Swap schedule and support. Track monthly interest and prepare documentation for monthly interest rate swap payment.
    • Prepare monthly borrowing base calculation and underlying support files.
    • Coordinate annual bank audit with external and internal parties.
    • Prepare quarterly debt compliance calculation and support files for Bank.
    • Coordinate quarterly analysis and RFP of the Company’s capital lease program with internal and external partners.
    • Support refinancing and capital markets activities.
  • Cash Administration
    • Maintain schedule of bank fees and provide analysis to team on a periodic basis.
    • Responsible for the administration of bank account documentation for the US and Canada banks.
    • Assist in the consolidation of bank accounts post-merger, acquisition and restructuring.
  • Other: 
    • Support periodic bank and financial statement audits.
    • Responsible for preparation and coordination of Bank KYC requests.
    • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by Management and internal partners. 
    • Support the Company’s share repurchase program.
    • Support the Company’s dividend program.
    • Provide Bloomberg support on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Customer Focus
    • Utilizes and deploys proactive customer relationship management techniques


  • Additional Duties and Functions as assigned.
  • This is a team based role and will assist in other aspects of finance as well as help drive our Company’s Strategies and promote our Mission, Vision and Values


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of previous accounting/finance experience
  • B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • CPA and/or CTP is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational change-management skills operating in matrix or other ambiguous, complex organizational structure
  • Ability to persuade and influence without authority


Abilities and Other Requirements:

The ability to perform work in a variety of work environments from a professional office environment to branch environment to customer construction sites is required. Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
