Supervisor - Sales Small Store

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:00am to 4:00pm 


Summary Job Statement

The Small Store Sales Supervisor is responsible for face to face selling, executing and maintaining specific key account monthly activity while managing sales personnel assigned to routes within a geographic area by performing the following duties:



  • Sell and execute at customer relations and training and development
  • Present established and effective sales training methods, techniques, and ideas.
  • Coordinate day to day activity of salesmen and in store execution.
  • Sell and execute at store level.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Compile sales figures and report problems to management.
  • Confer with management and sales personnel to formulate plans for meeting competition and improving sales.
  • Address customer complaints.
  • Other duties may be assigned.



Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  •  Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and in compliance with CCBCU fleet policy.
