Trade Credit Analyst

Duties are primarily limited to U.S. service centers, but may include Fluid Power and foreign subsidiaries.

Active involvement in the Company’s Total Quality Management process as evidenced by continuous improvement of processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing sales / gross profit and customer satisfaction.

 

Carries out policies and procedures as defined in the quality manual.

Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.

 

JOB DUTIES

 

  • Responsible for the design and distribution of all accounts receivable reporting, including month end reporting and ad-hoc reporting utilized by Corporate Management and Field Management.
  • Accounts receivable is the Company’s largest asset.As a result, the Financial Analyst is assigned numerous projects that require the ability to determine the relevant accounts receivable data set, extract data from the Company’s systems, analyze and interpret results, and present recommended solutions to management.
  • Assist with the customer accounts placed with third-party collection agencies, including the selection of the agency to be utilized.
  • Responsible for the over for collection database management, including tracking amounts placed and recovered and associated legal fees.
  • Establishes/creates templates for ACH-CCD electronic payments in order to upload remittance data to the accounts receivable system.
  • Unapplied cash analysis, reporting and resolution
  • Team member on numerous strategic projects, requiring the ability to interact and communicate with various departments and levels of associates within the organization.
  • Utilizes strong Microsoft Office skills to interpret data and prepare presentations for management.
  • Perform other departmental duties as assigned or directed.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
