The Role


The Lead Government Property Admin - Federal is responsible for tracking all Government property on his/her respective program in accordance with CenturyLink’s Government approved Property Management Plan and the Federal Acquisition Regulations.

The Main Responsibilities


  • Verify accuracy of property records per FAR requirements.
  • Life cycle management of all assets.
  • Maintain backup files supporting records for Government audit purposes.
  • Generate and deliver quarterly and annual property reports to Government customers or as required.
  • Ensure proper disposition of excess, obsolete, or damaged Government property.
  • Ensure accurate recording of physical inventory data and resolve discrepancies found during inventory.
  • Work with field personnel in conducting annual physical inventories of Government assets and that all database records are updated/adjusted appropriately.
  • Open Lost, Damaged, Destroyed or Theft (LDDT) cases with the Government for any equipment falling in this category.
  • Work with engineers and field techs on any issues regarding Government property.
  • Interface with customers as required on issues pertaining to Government property.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned
What We Look For in a Candidate


  • Proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Highly organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment.


Education and Experience


  • At least two years experience in Government property administration.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Associate’s degree preferred.


Security Requirements


  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation).
