Summary Job Statement

The Logistics Operator II loads and unloads transport and route trucks, and fills customer orders from tickets by performing the following duties:



  • Fill orders from tickets according to set quotas
  • Orders may be filled manually or by use of a pallet jack and/or riding jacks
  • Identify product by description and quantify them removing product from area and carrying to checking station by electronic pallet jacket
  • Check for accuracy in loading
  • General housekeeping
  • Complete daily pallet jack inspection form
  • Read customer order, work order, shipping orders, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Sorts and place material or item on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders in shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plan to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Drives pallet jack to transport stored items from warehouse to plan or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent amount of experience
  • Basic level math skills required –  add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to read and speak English
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs regularly
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.



Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.  Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks:  Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Delivery Product, Cooler Services, etc.
