We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, communications professional to join the corporate communications team. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a proven ability to craft effective and compelling messages. You are a strong writer with the ability to take complex information and turn it into compelling and engaging content that is easily understood by different audiences. You are a passionate storyteller and bring creative, fresh ideas to your team. You’re a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, where the needs of the client are constantly evolving. You are comfortable working with executives and have experience with both internal and external communications.
 
This is a full-time position based in Toronto, and reports to the Director of Communications, Customer. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Driving communications programs end-to-end in support Rogers efforts to build best in class customer experience and a high performing culture.
  • Support internal communications program to drive a customer first culture across the company & strong employee engagement across the Customer Experience & Care organization
  • Partner with colleagues across communications and frontline teams to create compelling content to leverage internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues to align on shared goals and strategies
  • The ability to bring creative ideas to life. Sourcing and developing positive stories that profile our frontline teams and customers.
  • Create dynamic and engaging content to support customer-first and frontline initiatives, including written and video content, town halls, presentations, speaking notes
  • Collaborating in partnership with different teams across the company to tell a customer first story.

 

What you have: 

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in PR/communications, including supporting leader and employee communications
  • You are a great writer with a passion for storytelling.
  • You have a University degree and/or diploma in communications or public relations.
  • You’re a creative thinker with a proven track record for bringing fresh thinking to the table and implementing new ideas.
  • You’re an excellent team player that enjoys collaborating with different people across an organization.
  • You can manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
