Job Description

Sabre Financial Systems Implementation team is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting tools and patterns which increase operational visibility and process efficiency for internal business units. Members of this team are highly motivated with a passion for creative problem solving.

 

The Billing and Incentive Modernization BU lead will represent the business in the end to end project to implement a company-wide modern and flexible billing solution.  He/she will work closely with various teams within the BU to identify needs, solution design, and implementation of a modern and flexible billing solution.  He/she will be responsible for business representation, decision making and leadership as well as cross coordination within the broader implementation team.

 

Working with the implementation partner and technical team lead, the R2R lead will be responsible for the following actions throughout the project implementation.

 

  • Driving organizational change
  • Provide subject matter experts to participate in each topic and get the SME to the meetings prepared
  • Attend project update meetings
  • Collect user stories and assist with business requirements and user stories
  • Provide updates back to business units and stakeholders
  • Make process decisions on behalf of their business
  • Communicate decisions to the business
  • Assist with workshops and workflow decompositions and diagrams
  • Assist with business level training and coordination of training
  • Participate in Sprint planning, design, configuration, and testing (3 in the box)
  • This functional business lead will define business requirements and solution for the record to report and financial contract account modules within SAP BRIM which include:
    • Manage Collections
    • Manage Outbound Payments
    • Manage Incoming Payments
    • Management Reporting
    • Financial Reporting
    • Tax Reporting
    • Manage Tax
    • Financial Close
    • Revenue Recognition
  • The functional business lead works across the organization (TS, HS, and Acct) to identify and validate SME’s are aligned and have provided user stories and requirements to the BRIM design team.  It is not the responsibility of the lead to create all user stories, but to confirm the SME’s have successfully done so.
  • The functional business lead assists with testing the functionality to confirm build represents requirements and seeks alignment with the SME’s as needed.
  • The functional business lead needs to obtain understanding about how record to report process works within SAP BRIM.
  • The business and technical leads will be responsible for identifying risks, actions, issues, and decisions related to usage mediation for the organization.
     
Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 year experience in SAP ERP, preferably in Financial Management
  • Experience with SAP RAR or BRIM a plus
  • Bachelor’s in Finance or Technology Solutions or equivalent
  • SCRUM certified
