Job Title: 

Sr Regional Sales Manager – Specialty Laminations


Position Summary: 

The Sr Regional Sales Manager is responsible for coaching, training, supervising, and leading the Specialty Laminations sales force while managing and growing a book of business. This sales group includes direct to end-user and distribution sales.  The Sr Regional Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in the development of our growth plans as well as market and performance improvement strategy. This position reports directly to the Vice President Sales


Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: 

Business Management: 

  • Lead and manage the sales efforts for the Specialty Laminations Team while managing select Enterprise Accounts 

  • Create and manage sales budgets by customer and by sales person. 

  • Manage the profitability of the business in a manner to achieve the overall goals of the organization – volume growth, EBITDA, and debt reduction. 

  • Develop and build markets within the capabilities of the business assets. 

  • Work collectively and cooperatively with Management, Customer Service, Production, and Operations. 

  • Experience managing global enterprise accounts.


Personnel Management: 

  • Manage and direct assigned sales personnel.  

  • Grow the volume and EBITDA to contribute to the plan of the overall business as set by management. 

  • Grow end user business via distribution channels or directly if appropriate. 

  • Identify and develop specific end use markets – Batch inclusion, Hooder, barrier films, custom industrial films. 

  • Set goals and targets for specific markets/products. 

  • Manage account pricing to achieve the goals of the organization by working collaboratively with the Sales group, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations as directed by the VP Sales. 

  • Facilitate communication of sales group across all functions – Customer Service, Management, Product Development, and Production. 

  • Help facilitate cross selling with all Novolex brands and product lines. 

  • Assist with all Novolex sales efforts as necessary to support the overall business. 


Candidate Requirements: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Computer expertise in Microsoft Office, Experience with CRM or SAP

  • Prior management experience: 

  • A sales head count of two or more people. 

  • Budgeting and execution of sales and expense budgets. 

  • Private Equity ownership experience is helpful. 

  • Prior product experience: 

  • Wide Web Paper Foil Lamination &  Coating

  • Building Materials /Building Panels 

  • Polyiso Foam Board Insulation in the US and Europe
