Sales Operations Specialist

SUMMARY:

The Sales Ops Specialst role is a key member on the Global Sales Team focused on helping increase the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team in the sales process. This role is charges with modeling, analyzing, and reporting on data to sales executives and cross-functional peers. This role will help support, enable, and drive front line sales team to sell better, faster and more efficiently, which enables sales reps to foxus more on selling in order to drive business results. Key factor to success in this role will be the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment in order to address the requirements of sales leadership and deliver projects/ task in a timely manner.   Finally, this position will work to ensure a cross-functional collaboration and integration between sales, marketing and finance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works with Systech’s Finance, Legal, Technology and Sales Leadership teams to properly implement agreed upon business rules into the CRM solution.
  • Administers Salesforce and Einstein by providing guidance to Sales Managers and Sales Directors on the development of quotes, and on the identification of content necessary to drive customer or prospect conversations.
  • Work alongside sales and marketing leadership to define quarterly, weekly and monthly standardize report
  • Identifies and reports on deals crucial to meeting the Order Intake and Revenue Targets of the business.
  • Supports revenue recognition and contract clearance via order intake processing and associated reporting.
  • Conducts pipeline analysis and generates executive level insights on an ad-hoc basis. 
  • Manages communications and feedback from Sales Managers related to proposal processing and quality.
  • Contributes to the design and execution of process improvement initiatives surrounding deal review, lease qualification and purchase order generation, and contract element validation.
  • Maintains accurate and efficient proposal status and routes information for all assigned proposals.
  • Strategy, Operations and Process/Performance Key Essential Specific Functions:

Strategy

  • Sales Process Optimization and monitoring of Systech’s Automated Sales Process
  • Manage Metrics to help sales make real-time data decisions
  • Monthly administration of Incentive and sales commission including reporting and rolling out new software tools
  • Evaluation of Sales Team Training Needs
  • Assessment and Adoption of Sales Methodologies
  • Selection of Enablement Software and other Technology Tools

Operations

  • Implementation and responsibilities for Incentives Program
  • Allocation of Accounts and Sales Territories
  • Maintenance of Communication and Collaboration Channels
  • Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Running and/or supporting global pipeline calls

Process and Performance

  • Program management capabilities and business process improvement initiatives
  • Training & Development (Coaching and Mentoring)
  • Optimization and Implementation of Sales Process, Sales Frameworks, and Methodologies.
  • Ability to meet changing deadlines and priorities
  • Optimization of Sales Tools, Knowledge Base and other Assets

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 7 Years sales operations experience.  Ideal candidates will come from a software or SaaS company.
  • Ability to communicate and interface at all levels of a client organization including making presentations to Systech Executives, Sales/Marketing Team and related support team.
  • Keen ability to identify bottlenecks or process change with new ideas or changes
  • Ideal candidate will have expertise in salesforce.com, Einstein, Xactly, Power BI, Outlook, PowerPoint and LinkedIn.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-department teams.
  • BA/BS degree with excellent communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Based in the Princeton, NJ area.  Would consider a remote position for the right candidate.
