This position can be based in Bothell, WA or remote.
We are Platform & Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) team and are on a mission to deliver simple, secure, scalable services that are platform and infrastructure agnostic. We operate two platforms at scale: Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes, hosting over 90K+ containers combined!

    Technology and System

    • Own the end-to-end solution with your team, from unit tests to CI/CD pipelines to deployments to monitoring and security.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Required
    • 5+ years of Technical engineering experience.
    • Experience w/ code repositories and at least one of the following languages: Python, Go or a scripting language.
    • Understanding of infrastructure components including firewalls, load balancers, switches, routers and VLANs.
    • Understanding of cloud-native/12Factor design principles, containers, micro-services, restful API's, distributed systems and/or distributed service-mesh.
    • Hands on experience with managing distributed systems & supporting 24x7x365 high availability solutions in large complex data-center environment.
    Desired
    • Prior experience with Cloud Foundry and/or Kubernetes in a production environment.
    • Familiarity with common Software Engineering principals (source code management, unit testing, CI/CD, etc.)
    • Experience working with data services such as Redis, MySQL and/or messaging services such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
    • Experience with Observability and Telemetry at scale.


    Minimum Qualifications
    EducationMinimum Required
    • Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science or Engineering.
    • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years related experience may be considered.
