Internship Description

Are you ready to put your accounting knowledge into practice? As an Accounting Intern, you'll gain valuable experience working with Australian companies to develop financial skills and workplace confidence. Typical tasks may include:

• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
• Supporting bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Preparing financial reports and spreadsheets
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Supporting auditors and finance teams with compliance tasks

Knowledge & Skills

As this is an internship role, we welcome applications from university students and recent graduates. The following knowledge and skills will help you succeed:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks) is desirable
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Eligibility

This program is open to international students and graduates who are:

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in accounting, finance, a related field
• Interested in gaining practical workplace accounting experience
• Looking to build valuable local experience to start their accounting career in Australia

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated Mentor and Placement Consultant to guide, coach, and offer career advice throughout the internship placement.
