SailPoint and Identity Specialist
Location: McKell Building, Sydney CBD
12 month contract with high possibility to extend
Daily rate: $1200 + super
WFH Policy: x1 day per week in the office
Role Overview
The Cyber and Information Security Office at the Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for a SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and IAM specialist to help deliver critical projects. The role will initially be for 12 months with a strong possibility of extension.

About the client
DCS is transforming the way NSW Government agencies interact with customers. They are passionate about putting the customer at the centre of everything they do and adopting new technologies to make government work better. The Cyber Security program of work will uplift cyber security across DCS reducing the likelihood and impact of a cyber attack. This role is pivotal to help mitigate security risks across DCS and its Agencies, whilst contributing to strengthening the security posture within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud configuration and code updates
- Documentation of implemented solutions
- Design and implementation of IAM security solutions
- Providing expert IAM advice to both technical and business teams
About you
- Exceptional technical skills in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
- A collaborative team player who can work with technical and non‑technical teams to ensure appropriate understanding of process, procedures and requirements.
- You will openly share your knowledge within the team and help mentor junior staff
- Experience with other Identity Products would be highly regarded (Okta, Entra ID, Beyond Trust Password Safe, CrowdStrike Identity Protection)
