About Our Internship Program

Emergent Group is committed to supporting the professional development of students and recent graduates. When specific projects arise, we offer the opportunity to work with one of our member companies – Advitech, Novecom or Acubis – or our Emergent Group Shared Services team.

During your internship, you will learn from a supportive multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers and business professionals including marketing and administration. You can also expect the following:

  • Real Work Experience – get involved in actual work, and possibly site work, where you can learn and make a difference
  • Mentoring – be guided and supported by experienced industry professionals
  • Networking – opportunity to meet with senior people who are working in your field of study to discuss career pathways
  • Professional Development – attending speaker sessions, having access to online training courses and making presentations

Our internship program is open to penultimate year university students across engineering, science and business disciplines. We offer flexible work arrangements so you can achieve 200 hours without compromising your study and personal time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Studying a Bachelor Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn new things quickly and independently
