Internship Description
Are you eager to apply your mechanical engineering knowledge to real-world projects? As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll gain hands‑on experience with Australian companies across manufacturing, design, and maintenance environments. Typical tasks may include:
- Assisting with the design and testing of mechanical components and systems
- Supporting CAD modelling and documentation for engineering projects
- Conducting research, data analysis, and performance evaluations
- Helping identify improvements to processes, machinery, and workflows
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians to deliver project outcomes
Knowledge & Skills
As this is an internship role, we welcome applications from university students and recent graduates. The following knowledge and skills will help you succeed:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and applications
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions

This program is open to international students and graduates who are:

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated Mentor and Placement Consultant to guide, coach, and offer career advice throughout the internship placement.
