Zenith Energy Limited is a Well Engineering Consultancy and Project Management company providing a range of specialist services to the Oil and Gas Industry. We are an independent company, owned and managed by Engineers, with a core team behind us that are experienced and respected within the Industry. Our multi-disciplined team include Drilling Manager, Well Team Leader, Senior Drilling Engineers and Drilling Engineers all based together in our Aberdeen office.

Zenith and our people bring vast experience and skills to any project we are involved in. We are experienced in land drilling, jack-ups, semis and drill ships and our personnel have worked in the UK, Norway, West Africa and the Falklands. We have experience in normal pressure wells, HPHT wells, Horizontal wells and Deep Water wells and working closely with both Drilling Contractors and Service Companies internationally.

In addition to our core team, we have access to a pool of experienced Well Engineering personnel covering, Completions, Well Testing, Offshore Supervisors, Subsea and Logistics and Contracts specialists.

Job Description

Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Advisor to join our Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics function on a 12-month contract, based in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in improving inventory reliability, visibility, and cost efficiency within a complex operational environment.

You will be responsible for inventory analysis, optimisation, and master data governance, working closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and projects.

About the Role

  • Demonstrating a sound understanding of end-to-end materials management processes, systems, risks, and controls
  • Maintaining the MRP process, including analysing and quantifying MRP data and taking appropriate action
  • Ensuring inventory additions are processed in line with established policies and governance standards
  • Analysing and optimising inventory settings using approved optimisation tools
  • Identifying inventory risks and implementing appropriate mitigation and control measures
  • Conducting aged inventory reviews and identifying materials no longer required by the business
  • Supporting timely resolution of inventory-related issues
  • Performing ad-hoc and on-demand analysis as required
  • Ensuring MRP and master data settings remain accurate and aligned
  • Optimising inventory levels to reduce waste and improve supply reliability
  • Processing master data requests in a timely and controlled manner
  • Building strong working relationships and maintaining open communication with key stakeholders

About You

You are analytical, detail-focused, and commercially aware, with the ability to balance governance requirements against operational realities. You are comfortable working across systems and stakeholders, enjoy problem-solving, and take ownership of improving inventory performance and data integrity.
