Banner University Medical Group Tucson is seeking to hire two experienced Advanced Practice Providers (ACNP) to support to our Cardiothoracic Surgeons and team
. In this team-oriented practice, we all help each other to provide great care to our patients. As one might think, open heart surgery can be stressful, so the ability to work under pressure is a must. We are a teaching institution and have many individuals learning simultaneously. Good communication skills and a calm demeanor are essential in this position. This APP professional will assist the CT surgeons in the OR setting in a first assist capacity. The ideal candidate helps Cardiothoracic Surgeons, and collaborates with Residents, Fellows, and clinicians from the Cardiology, Thoracic, Transplant, Radiology, and Anesthesia departments. The candidate needs the ability to work independently in the hospital to maintain patient flow efficiency. Full Time | Monday - Friday 7a to completion of surgeries. Predominantly in the OR taking conduit (vein, radial arteries), helping with prepping, draping, opening, closing, and transitioning patient safely to the ICU & other perioperative care. 2-3 years CT Surgery/OR experience (RNFA or Surgical First Assist experience preferred) ~ May consider new grads with a background in cardiac care. ~ You take care of others.
