About the role
The security team in this locationplayan important rolein ensuring that the clients data integrity is alwaysmaintained.As the first point of contactforvisitorsand contractors enteringtheselocationsyou will setthe tone;deliveringaprofessionaland welcoming experience whilstupholdingstrictsecurity protocols.

Shift Pattern
Ability to workrotating dayandnightsshifts of12hours
Key responsibilities
- screeningvisitors&equipmentto and from the secure area.
- provision of exemplarycustomerservice, with some administrative tasks.
- ensuringadherencetoallsite security procedures,policiesand access control requirements
- identifyingand preventing prohibited items from being introduced to or removed from secure areas
- issuing,monitoringand auditing visitor and contractor security passes in line with site protocols
- raising,updatingand managing access requests using client security systems and software
- completing regular patrols of assigned areas and reporting hazards or incidents to the regional control room
- responding to, escalating and documenting incidents with clear,accuratewritten reports and daily activity logs
- communicating effectively via two-way radio and following command-and-control procedures
- maintaining a strong safety-first mindset and leading by example in compliance and professionalism
About You
- Must haveSecurity Licence,Classification 1A(Unarmed Guarding)& 1E(Monitoring Centre Operator)
- Valid First Aid Certificate(3yearsvalidity)with current CPRCertificate(1 year validity)
- Ability to clear an Australian Police Check
- Lead by example – support a safety and compliance culture
- Excellent communicationandcustomer serviceskills
- Conflict resolution and negation skillsrequired
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)
- Report writing and Site patrol duties
- Excellent observational skills
- Experience communicating via two-way radio
