Outpatient Obstetrics OB/GYN Clinic
Unit Details:
Outpatient obstetrics clinic coverage supporting prenatal care services across both low-risk and high-risk OB populations. Role provides clinic-side relief coverage during multiple simultaneous provider leaves while the internal team maintains delivery coverage. Additional Providers/Support Staff:
Physicians, APPs, MAs, RNs, and care coordinators.
EMR System(s):
EPIC (Dragon Dictation available upon request) Lic/Certs:
CA License; NP must hold Furnishing License with Schedule II; PA must hold CA PA Controlled Substance Education Certificate. BC/BE:
Board Certified required for Locums Credentialing Timeframe:
30–90 days (avg. 6 weeks with complete documentation) Start Date:
June, 2026 (ASAP) Duration:
3-month minimum, option to extend in 3-month increments Shift:
Monday–Friday, 8a–5p Schedule / Call Coverage:
Outpatient only, no call; 36 hrs clinical + 4 hrs admin Compensation:

Notes: Coverage needed due to multiple simultaneous provider LOAs. Clinic-only OB role supporting prenatal workflows while internal team manages deliveries. Experience with dating ultrasounds and newborn care strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience:
EPIC EMR proficiency. FQHC or underserved population experience. Experience working in collaborative OB clinic coverage environments Hospital / Practice Details: Case Mix : Prenatal visits, OB follow-ups, ultrasound dating support, newborn care coordination
Coverage Model : Outpatient clinic support only
Patient Population : Underserved OB population across low- and high-risk categories
Greatest Challenges : Maintaining continuity of prenatal care across multiple provider absences in a moderate-demand community clinic environment.
