Schedule
Day and Night 3x12-Hour Shifts, rotating between 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with the potential for variability based on operational needs.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the HVTI-Stepdown unit. This position may require floating to units J1-2, J33, and ED, caring for patients with similar needs. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to stepdown patients.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Complete necessary documentation accurately and timely.
Participate in orientation and training as required.
Fulfill holiday shifts as assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty applying for.
18 months of recent stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.
Active Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
