Part Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Cone Health is seeking a Part Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. As a key member of our collaborative anesthesia care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia services across a variety of surgical and procedural settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory care. Working closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, proceduralists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team, you will conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans, and manage patients throughout the perioperative period. Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting relevant diagnostic tests, optimizing patients for anesthesia, administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, managing airways and hemodynamics, and responding promptly to changes in patient status. You will ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, adhere to Cone Health policies and evidence-based practice guidelines, and maintain rigorous standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and medication management. In this part-time role, you will participate in patient and family education, collaborate in postoperative pain management strategies, and contribute to quality improvement, clinical innovation, and process optimization efforts within the department.
