Registered Nurse CCU and PCU Float

As a Registered Nurse CCU and PCU Float with Ascension, you will provide high-acuity, patient-centered care across both Critical Care and Progressive Care units within a leading non-profit healthcare system. In this float role, you will be part of a compassionate, diverse, and highly collaborative care team, supporting patients with complex and evolving medical needs. You will use advanced assessment skills to monitor and manage critically and acutely ill patients, interpret cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, administer medications and titrate IV drips, support ventilated patients, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. You will coordinate and implement evidence-based care plans, collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members, and ensure safe, timely transitions of care between CCU, PCU, and other hospital areas. You will educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care, always emphasizing compassion, clear communication, and respect for cultural and individual differences.
