Job Description

The Electrical Supervisor will have the following responsibilites:

  • Supervise and support the night shift electrical team to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all electrical systems and machinery are operating safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance activities during the night shift.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
  • Document and report nightly activities, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills.


The Successful Applicant

A successful Night Shift Electrical Supervisor should have:

  • Relevant electrical trade qualifications or certification.
  • Experience in electrical systems, particularly in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts 10pm - 6am
