Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor will have the following responsibilites:
- Supervise and support the night shift electrical team to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical systems and machinery are operating safely and effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance activities during the night shift.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Document and report nightly activities, including maintenance and repairs.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Night Shift Electrical Supervisor should have:
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications or certification.
- Experience in electrical systems, particularly in the FMCG industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work night shifts 10pm - 6am
