Role
The role is for a Lifestyle Assistant/Officer (PCW - Wellbeing) on a permanent part‑time basis. In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday. A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents, helping them feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. You will also get to know the residents’ personal interests and find engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging activities that enrich residents’ daily lives.
- Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
- Build genuine relationships with residents and support their wellbeing.
- Plan and implement fun, dynamic and innovative activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience as a lifestyle assistant, officer or similar role in aged care.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for building genuine relationships with residents.
- Dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment.
