About the role and where you will be working
We are seeking a part‑time Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health Team in Southern Cross Care WA. The role will be based in East Fremantle, and includes a significant community caseload with home visits.
Work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm (7.5 hours per day with a 30‑minute lunch break), totaling 60 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
- Provide exercise physiology services to existing and new clients at the Health and Wellness Centre and in the community.
- Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice to ensure clinical standards are met and maintained.
- Maintain clinical documentation.
- Liaise with other team members to develop well‑coordinated holistic treatment plans for clients.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all clients.
Requirements
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a relevant Bachelor's degree (registered with your governing body).
- Demonstrated high level of quality clinical care and evidence‑based practice.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience or knowledge of aged care is highly desirable.
