At Spector, we help companies connect their systems, automate processes, and unlock the full potential of their technology landscape. As an Integration & Automation Engineer, you design and build the integrations that make this possible.

You translate business needs into robust, scalable integration solutions and take ownership of projects from analysis to go-live. Working with Workato’s leading iPaas platform using modern integration patterns, you help organizations streamline operations and innovate faster.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex integrations using Workato.
  • Work with APIs, messaging technologies, and integration patterns to connect systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
  • Contribute to integration architectures (API Management, Data Integration, EDA, B2B).
  • Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

What we are looking for

  • 3-4 years of hands-on IT experience.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Experience with messaging technologies (JMS, AMQP, Kafka, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, PIM, etc.).
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Workato or other iPaas platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Experience in a consultancy or customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of business process automation.
  • Dutch and/or French language skills.

What we offer

  • Be part of the leading integration community: As part of CornerBriX, you’ll join Belgium’s leading integration community. You’ll find a group of like-minded integration experts, each with their own areas of interest and expertise. • Continuous learning and growth: work on innovative initiatives, expand your expertise, and benefit from dedicated training opportunities that help you grow both technically and professionally.
  • Work where you perform best: We believe in flexibility. Our hybrid way of working allows you to split your time between customers’ locations, our offices in Kontich and Ghent, and working from home.
  • A strong compensation package: You can count on a competitive salary complemented by a comprehensive set of extra-legal benefits, including a company car, fuel card, laptop, phone, mobile subscription, and insurance
