Compensation and Contract
$33 to $39/hr (depending on experience) + super + tax benefits + School Holiday pay.
Full‑time 6‑month maternity leave contract, 5 days per week, 8am‑4pm. Part‑time availability in Term 1 2027 possible.
Role Overview
Diploma‑trained Educator to work across our preschool rooms. Responsibilities include programming children and the room, creating inviting learning environments, documenting learning, and supporting the learning outcomes framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, contribute to, and implement programs reflecting the approved learning framework.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Facilitate play‑based learning environments responsive to children’s interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Document children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education – essential.
- Minimum 2 years of experience at the Diploma level in an early learning service.
- Demonstrated ability to record observations, write learning stories, and plan curriculum using the EYLF.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
- Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (CPR), Child Protection certificate (CHCPRT025), and mandatory national child protection training (GECCKO).
