Work Schedule:


100%, day shift. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. No weekend or holiday hours. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center with rotations at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.


We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:



  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients with genitourinary cancers with acute, chronic and/or treatment related health problems.

  • Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs.

  • Provide outpatient urgent visits for patients with genitourinary cancers, as needed.

  • Participate in Genitourinary Medical Oncology clinical trial/research activities.

Education:


Minimum –



  • If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.

  • If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.


Work Experience:


Preferred - One or more years caring for hematology/medical oncology patients. 


Licenses and Certifications:


Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure


If Nurse Practitioner*:



  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND

  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Family; or Women’s Health.


If Physician Assistant*:



  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND

  • Active PA board certification


All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
