Job Description
The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics Division of Neurology is seeking a highly qualified epileptologist to join our academic faculty. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, with experience in advanced epilepsy management including medical, dietary, surgical, and neurostimulation therapies.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and participate in multidisciplinary epilepsy care teams.
- Contribute to the epilepsy monitoring unit.
- Engage in teaching activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in clinical or translational research.
- Lead program development and quality improvement initiatives in epilepsy care.
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in neurology and epilepsy.
- Fellowship training in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida in Pediatrics.
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics or the appropriate subspecialty.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in neurology and epilepsy, with fellowship training in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence.
Salary
Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
