We’re AgeMate, a supplement company that's on a mission to slow ageing.

We are seeking a high‑calibre Junior Finance Manager based in Melbourne to lead the commercial finance operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of financial results.

This is a hybrid role based in our Cremorne office, with up to 2 days a week working remote.

The role has influence across the global P&L to provide financial insight and trend analysis reporting on business performance to all relevant stakeholders, whilst aiding in the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to address opportunities or risks.

Salary range for this role is $120,000-$135,000.

You’re highly organised, detail‑oriented, and ready for an exciting, broad role that stretches to multiple stakeholders and geographies.

  • You’re energetic and positive, thriving in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment. At the same time, you’re flexible, organised, and ready to roll up your sleeves to get into the detail.
  • You master multitasking and time management. When things get busy, you prioritise effectively and rally support when needed to ensure deadlines are met.
  • You have an instinct for financial reporting, analysis, and insights.
  • Your experience as a trusted senior accountant or finance professional gives you the confidence to step into a growing business and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
  • You possess strong Excel and analytical skills, and thrive working across various systems.
  • You're degree‑qualified in accounting, finance or business and are CPA/CA qualified or working toward it.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, prepare & deliver month‑end processes to meet deadlines, including journals, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Deliver management accounts for senior stakeholders including monthly financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting and forecasting activities, including detailed variance analysis and reporting for revenue, cost of sales, direct and operating costs.
  • Lead analysis to support strategic decision making.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance to gather information to contribute to financial analysis of company performance and opportunities.
  • Ownership of trading updates, utilising knowledge from demand meetings plus review of despatch/open orders to accurately forecast monthly outcomes.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to address areas or opportunity or risk.

Preferred Background & Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
  • Experience with a physical inventory business, preferably e‑commerce.
  • Experience working cross functionally with other departments (e.g., marketing, supply chain).
  • Interest in health & longevity products is a plus!
