Project Engineer – Brownfield Smelter Upgrades
Portfolio: Alcoa Smelter, Portland, VIC. Roster: Monday–Friday, site‑based. Key benefit: up to $70k inclusive of super per annum (contract).
Role Opportunity
Join a multi‑discipline project team delivering sustaining capital and brownfield upgrade works within a major smelter environment. Support project planning, coordinate engineering inputs, assist with contractor interfaces and contribute to safe, on‑time delivery across design, construction and commissioning phases.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferable)
- Brownfield or heavy industrial project experience
- Strong schedule, cost and risk awareness
- Stakeholder and contractor coordination skills
- Understanding of Australian Standards
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support brownfield engineering project delivery
- Assist with planning, execution and reporting
- Coordinate with engineering and site teams li>Monitor scope, schedule, cost and risks
- Contribute to safety‑in‑design and compliance
