Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent Home Health experience and valid licensure for an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a home health outpatient setting covering 13 counties
• Typical schedule is either 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts, starting at 8:00 AM
• Call required one Sunday every five weeks
• Every fifth weekend requires working both Saturday and Sunday with two weekdays off
• Fewer patient visits assigned on days with considerable travel distances
• EPIC charting experience is preferred
• Responsibilities include providing home health PT services across a multi-county region
• Team members share responsibility for outlying area coverage on a rotating weekly basis
• Applicants who have previously worked at this facility must have a one-year break before returning as travelers
• Orientation includes 4 non-billable hours of modules completed via MyPath
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate and must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs or polo tops with black, grey, or khaki pants required; no prints allowed

Requirements

• Current BLS certification is required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Travel therapy experience preferred
