You will identify, establish and develop innovative partnerships, present / negotiate contracts with corporations, organizations, community colleges, military installations, VA and Military Hospitals, and Education Service Officers to generate inquiries for recruiting prospective students and for marketing Chamberlain's BSN, MSN, and DNP degree programs. This unique role encompasses promotion, outreach, marketing, public relations, and healthcare while representing a fast-growing leader in nursing education. In partnership with our education and marketing teams, you will cultivate strong relationships and develop strategic opportunities for growth. Your exceptional presentation and people skills will be tremendously valuable as you represent Chamberlain at a variety of engagements, including job fairs, orientations, graduations, "lunch and learns" and other meetings.

Location: The territory this position will cover includes TN, KY, MO, KS, WV, VA, NC, MD and SC . The ideal candidate will reside in TN, KY, VA or MD.

Travel: Encompasses 80% of the job while the other 20% you will be working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Presents partner contracts to prospective organizations, negotiates contracts and nurtures finalized partnerships
  • Nurtures and maintains relationships with C-Suite partner contacts at finalized partner organizations
  • Secures inquiries by delivering dynamic presentations to industry leaders that promote educational programs for potential students
  • Stays current with trends and initiatives within the healthcare and educational industries, gathers and communicates strategic information and recommends marketing changes or modifications, as appropriate
  • Produces activity reports on a weekly basis in a clear and concise format
  • Participates in activities such as attending healthcare industry and nursing career fairs, trade shows, and conferences to promote a positive image of Chamberlain, establish inquiry generation contacts and present Chamberlain's educational products.
  • Maintains ongoing communication and collaborates sources with our Clinical Coordination Office
  • Accomplishes tasks on time and within budget and completes all standard and ad hoc reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Reside in assigned territory
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business/Sales/Marketing
  • Successful experience in military recruitment or selling/sales management
  • Prior military experience, very highly desired
  • Experience selling services or education
  • Strong relationships in the hospital management industry, preferred
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, result-oriented, strategic thinker
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Possess a very strong worth ethic with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to inspire loyalty and trust
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Team player/collaboration skills with a willingness to share and exchange ideas for success
  • Ability to make ethical decisions, always doing what is best for the students and the company
  • Ability to travel up to 80% by car and plane throughout assigned territory
  • Strong time management skills
