The company serves more than 30,000 clients representing more than 27 million users in over 150 countries. Job Overview: Responsible for managing a team of Market Development Representatives in lead generation sales efforts and related activities. Reports to the Market Development Director.Responsibilities: Accountable for leading a team of Market Development Representatives to deliver qualified prospect leads/opportunities in order to meet corporate sales goals. Responsible for achieving team monthly Annual Recurring Revenue goals. Work with the Regional Sales Director to communicate company revenue goals, determine appropriate lead generation quotas, communicate expectations to staff and monitor and report on results to senior leadership. Manage and develop Market Development staff through proactive performance management. Work with Field Marketing Manager to deliver innovative and effective marketing campaigns. Stay current on competitor product offerings and industry trends to better leverage Concur’s strengths through marketing campaigns.In partnership with HR, develop effective incentive programs to create a motivated and effective Market Development team. Manage and improve efficiencies of lead passage process to outside sales teams to include: defining qualified leads, lead follow-up and results of lead passages. Participate on cross-functional teams as needed to further sales initiatives. Operates under moderate supervision. Interacts with sales, marketing, field services, business development and external customers. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Position Requirements:
Education, Experience & Training required:
BS/BA or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in a sales or prospecting role. 2+ years of experience leading or managing a sales or lead generation team. Ability to pass a background check.
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Previous experience managing or leading people.Ability to inspire and motivate a team of individuals to achieve phenomenal results. Must be a highly-motivated “self-starter” with excellent verbal communication skills. Must be detail oriented to manage the day-to-day operations of lead generation, but must also possess the strategic business acumen required to participate in the design and develop of new lead generation programs.
