We are looking for a curious and motivated Research Analyst to join our Research & Thought Leadership team at RBCx. This individual will play a key role in supporting marketing research initiatives, leading research engagements, managing stakeholder relationships, and shaping exceptional user experiences. This unique role is ideal for someone who loves digging into quantitative data, synthesizing qualitative insights, and helping teams understand what customers think, feel, and need across RBCx. You don’t need to arrive as a strategist; we’re looking for a detailed oriented storyteller that can deliver insights effectively across audiences and stakeholders. This work will blend: Primary and secondary research (~65%); Workshops and ideation support (~20%), and Coordination and logistics (~15%). As a Research Analyst, you will bring empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment. From supporting research studies to helping shape early concepts, your work will help inform how RBCx provides value to RBCx customers and our organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Customer Insights Specialist: Deliver insights across our portfolio companies by conducting research and ideation to align marketing strategy, products, and businesses toward the sweet spot of customer desirability and business viability.
  • Research: Support qualitative and quantitative research initiatives end-to-end from scoping and methods development, knowledge harvesting, research design and analysis, and recommendations development across lines of business such as marketing, product, design, and brand.
  • Storytelling: Communicate research insights, knowledge, and ideas through compelling narratives through decks and briefs, helping stakeholders make informed strategic decisions.
  • Workshop & Ideation Support: Assist with planning, preparing, and coordinating workshops by supporting with crafting the agenda, logistics, capturing insights, and generating ideas that feed into marketing and product initiatives.
  • Project Management & Research Operations: Manage timelines, coordination logistics (recruiting, scheduling, tool setup), organize materials, and keep documentation up to date. Streamline and scale processes by building templates, standardizing repeatable documents like consent forms, and creating efficient workflows. Participate in internal dialogue to advance the researcher discipline within RBC; be an ambassador of user-centered design, delivering its value internally and externally.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • 2-4 years of experience in product and marketing research
  • Tools acumen – Strong skills & working knowledge of the tools of the trade (usability testing, Optimal Workshop, Usertesting.com, etc.)
  • Storytelling – Demonstrated ability to deliver well‑thought‑out design recommendations based on user research.
  • Agile – Experience working in fast paced, experimental or start‑up environments.
  • Research – Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research to solve business challenges across product, design, marketing and brand development.
  • Presentation and Communication – Experience synthesizing research results into strategies and tactics.
  • Stakeholder Management – Ability to work with cross functional teams to align on solutions.
  • Strategic Problem Solving – Define solutions grounded in human insight.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding analytics tools (Google Analytics, DisplayR, etc.) and incorporating them into research recommendations a bonus
  • Data analysis and quantitative research experience
