Licensing Analyst

Responsibilities
The Licensing Analyst performs a critical analytical/knowledge component as part of a high‑level project delivery team. You will be part of a team that executes contract optimization client engagements, creating spreadsheet‑based analysis and conceptual models to provide clients with logical scenarios and conclusions within the context of their unique circumstances. You will deliver practical licensing expertise and help clients develop actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant role such as a SAM consultant, procurement team member, or reseller
- Experience in licensing, pricing, and contracting policies for one or more major software vendors
- An understanding of software licensing developments and issues enabling innovative, fact‑based guidance
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and produce logical conclusions
- Use of lateral thinking to solve problems with inconclusive evidence and assumptions
- Commitment to team success, willingness to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Intellectual curiosity and creative problem‑solving skills
- Hands‑on mindset and ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
