Job Description
This Service Manager role is to oversee a large OSHC service in Chatswood, with an existing team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, and Educators. This service is designed for excellence. Licensed for over 50 children per day, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a high-quality OSHC program.
In addition to paid admin hours every week, every term you will have opportunities for professional development and staff meetings. As a part of a national company, we have centralised teams to manage administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional experiences for children and leading your team.
About the role
Leading a team of Coordinators and Educators, you will manage a service in the hours before and after school for children aged 5–12 years. You'll have the support of a state‑specific office, regular visits and mentorship from an experienced Regional Leader. The role is full‑time (38 hours per week), structured in block shifts to support work‑life balance, with approximately 5.5 hours per week in direct ratio hours, along with responsibilities as an Educational Leader.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging, child‑centered program.
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations of your service.
- Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery in line with the NQF.
- Grow attendance to support children and families.
Who are we looking for?
- Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact.
- Communicates clearly and confidently.
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
- Has Australian work rights.
- Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
