Role Overview

You will identify opportunities, engineer outcomes, and build narratives that move markets while ensuring flawless execution of all investor and corporate communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic corporate initiatives: Identify, evaluate and execute M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships and corporate transactions that accelerate growth.
- Investment analysis & deal execution: Build financial models, conduct market analysis, perform due diligence, and coordinate cross‑functional teams from screening through integration.
- Investor relations excellence: Prepare quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, investor presentations and ASX disclosures that articulate performance, strategy and value creation.
- Relationship building: Connect with investment banks, corporate development counterparts, private equity firms and industry players to source deal flow and partnership opportunities.
- Competitive intelligence & market analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to inform executive decision‑making.
- High‑stakes communications: Coordinate earnings calls, investor roadshows, AGMs and strategic announcements, ensuring flawless materials and messaging.
- Stakeholder engagement: Respond to investor inquiries, coordinate meetings with analysts and institutional investors, and maintain the investor relations portal.
- Strategic planning support: Contribute to long‑term planning, business case development for new initiatives, and board presentations on corporate development activities.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity or investor relations at technology companies or financial institutions with a clear deal‑execution track record.
- Expertise in financial modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) and sensitivity analysis, with the ability to present investment recommendations.
- Hands‑on M&A experience, including target identification, due diligence coordination, negotiation support and integration planning.
- Investor relations capability: Understanding of ASX compliance, financial reporting standards and investor communication best practices.
- Analytical excellence: Synthesize market data, competitive intelligence, financial information and strategic considerations into actionable insights.
- Strategic thinking: See beyond individual transactions to broader competitive dynamics and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication: Craft investment memos, board presentations, investor materials and strategic recommendations with clarity and precision.
- Project management: Orchestrate multiple workstreams simultaneously, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver initiatives under aggressive timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce or related field; MBA, CFA or CA highly regarded but not required.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Capital IQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg and valuation methodologies.
