Equity Analyst - Global Equities - Investment Fund

The fund invests across the market‑cap spectrum, primarily in developed markets, building high‑conviction positions in durable, high‑quality businesses. The strategy is long‑term, benchmark‑agnostic and research‑led, with sustained outperformance.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to appoint a talented analyst to assist with company and sector research, idea generation and portfolio management.

We are seeking disciplined thinkers with strong analytical foundations and a long‑term investment philosophy. This role is suited to a professional with either corporate finance, equity research, consulting or funds management experience who is motivated by a concentrated, conviction‑led approach and a broad remit.

The Opportunity

• Conduct fundamental, bottom‑up company research across sectors and geographies
• Lead financial modelling, valuation work, and primary diligence on public companies
• Track portfolio companies and present clear insights on earnings drivers, competitive positioning and capital allocation
• Prepare investment papers and contribute directly to investment decision‑making
• Gain exposure to negotiated opportunities including block stakes, select privates, and structured transactions

Requirements

• 3-7 years’ experience in equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting or funds management
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to interrogate drivers behind reported numbers
• Clear written investment reasoning and evidence‑based communication
• Demonstrated interest in markets and individual stock selection
• Strong academic results
