Unlock your potential with a prestigious opportunity alongside an award‑winning, data‑driven industry leader! A dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst is invited to join a highly respected Data Platforms team driving impactful decision‑making across the enterprise.
You’ll be a technically astute Business Analyst joining this Data Platforms team, supporting the delivery of cloud‑native data solutions across the enterprise. You’ll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution, translating requirements and enabling scalable, compliant data architectures using Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for data platform initiatives
- Work alongside data engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals
- Analyse source systems, data flows, and transformation logic to support ETL / ELT development and integration
- Develop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, and mapping documents
- Support testing and validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performance
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with cross‑functional teams
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworks
To succeed in the role you will have
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data‑centric projects
- Strong understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue (hands‑on exposure preferred)
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas, and transformation logic
- Experience with SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, JIRA / Confluence, and CI / CD environments
- Excellent communication skills‑able to translate technical detail into business values
- Exposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Athena, Redshift)
- Experience in financial services, government, or other regulated industries
