Lot Manager

Walser’s Core Values * Do The Right Thing – Nothing is worth compromising a relationship * Lead By Example – Be willing to help no matter how difficult the challenge * Display Positive Energy – A good attitude is highly contagious * Be Open Minded – The only thing that is constant is change Job Duties (Will Include but Not Be Limited To) * Maintaining detail supplies inventory * Maintaining the dealership lot * Inspect new vehicles that come on transport truck for damage- report transport/lot damage and arrange for repair * Scan invoices for all new vehicles and maintain on file * Process Dealer Trade paperwork * Data entry of vehicles into DMS * Enter price changes * Audit sales and RDR’s * Make packets and assign stock numbers for incoming vehicles * Train and manage staff in company policies and ensure adherence to all company policies * Motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all department staff conducting disciplinary action or PIP’s as needed and administer annual performance evaluations for staff with thoughtful feedback * Appraise staff productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status * Ensure staff completes all required job duties in an accurate and timely manner * Complete employee terminations based on policy violations with HR approval * Manage all staff pay rates and hours worked, schedules, time off, and other administrative duties * Coordinate with the Recruiting Department to interview and hire department staff * Ensure that any employee relations issues or concerns are addressed and escalated to HR when necessary * Monitor and assist in the implementation of company initiatives and legal compliance measures and ensure the communication of company news on a regular basis * Ensure Walser service processes and scripts are followed by employees * Support the career and professional development of staff * Lead by example and be an advocate for staff * Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values * All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned Minimum Requirements * Ability to work outside and stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, squat, climb, and stand for long periods of time * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Must have manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment * Work well as a member of a team * Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record     Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.   I have carefully read and understand the contents of this job description.
