SUMMARY OF THE POSITION 

The Change Management Leader for the IT & Digital organization will be responsible for working closely with project managers and stakeholders across the company to ensure the successful design, rollout, communication planning and adoption for major company initiatives that involve organizational change. 

This role is responsible for communicating and driving change both vertically and horizontally across the company for major transition projects and IT & Digital platform rollouts impacting various business units. This role will also ensure effective global IT & Digital communications. This position reports directly to the Director of Communications & Change Management for the IT & Digital organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop consistent approach to change management methodology for critical change initiatives and system implementations, driving new and /or different business processes 
  • Write, manage and support communication efforts for a variety of change initiatives as well as day-to-day communication needs for the IT & Digital organization  
  • Work closely with project managers and deployment leads to ensure change activities across the organization are well harmonized and align with department strategies 
  • Identify potential risks, points of resistance, gaps and develop corrective action plans 
  • Develop communication materials, key messages and collaborate with subject matter experts on communication deliverables and continuous improvement ideas 
  • Ensure messages are delivered to the right audience at the right time, using appropriate communication channels 
  • Identifying and evangelizing reasons why we are changing and the benefits to be delivered from the planned change 
  • Responsible for assessing change readiness, monitoring adoption and supporting the delivery of programs that drive improved business outcomes 
  • Advise leadership on successful change management approaches, risk mitigation techniques and lessons learned from personal knowledge and industry best practices 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading large-scale organizational change projects 
  • Strategic communications skills with the ability to advise and partner with others to develop effective and impactful communications 
  • Ability to execute designs and plans effectively across a culturally-diverse global organization 
  • Strong knowledge of change management methods and tools 
  • Experience with implementing complex, global adoption programs and leading communication plans for such projects 
  • Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, concise communications 
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines 
  • Ability to effectively manage issues and risks so they are resolved/mitigated by appropriate stakeholders  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel as well as various communication tools / channels 
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering multiple complex projects with a strong focus on execution and leading communication efforts 
     

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Hands-on experience in implementing complex, global initiatives that involved a change in business practices preferred 
  • Experience/background in IT business function is a plus 
  • Experience working for a global organization is preferred
