Business Consultant Manager II


About the Role:

Partner with worldwide Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership teams/sites to deploy and improve BSC’s operating model (SQP Essentials) to achieve 3-year strategic plan goals.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Global SQP Essentials (BSC’s Operating Model) – Collaborate globally with leadership teams in USA, Europe, AsiaPac and Latin America to support and drive high performance utilizing BSC’s operating model which includes Management Systems, Continuous Improvement, Functional Excellence Guidebooks and toolkits.
  • Collaborate globally with site/functional leadership teams in USA, Europe, AsiaPac and Latin America to support and drive Standard Work, Leaders Standard Work, Making Material Flow, 5S, Project Leadership Excellence, Production Supervisor and Operations Integration Handbooks and toolkits.
  • Provide global stewardship, development and deployment of new/updated Production Essentials and Project Leadership, Making Material Flow, Production Supervisor, Operations Integration, PB Engagement and Quality Fundamentals toolkits.
  • Coach and mentor site/functional leadership teams on developing strategic and tactical plans to address opportunities to improve.
  • Conduct internal/external benchmarking to identify best practices and evolve BSC’s operating system to reflect innovative best practices.
  • Partner with external organizations (e.g. Shingo Institute) to foster continued learning, benchmarking and operational best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide instant offense leadership when needed.
  • Provide global stewardship for key global policies.


What we’re looking for in you:

  • BS/BA Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional managerial experience
  • Production or Engineering Management experience
  • Travel globally 25-30%
