Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse - PCU/MedSurg Tele
Location: Prescott, AZ (Floating between West Campus & East Campus)
Start Date: 12/02/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units including PCU, MedSurg Tele, and inpatient holds in ED
• Float between West Campus (95-bed MedSurg Tele, 14-room Stepdown) and East Campus (10-bed NextCare with ICU/Stepdown)
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
• Monitor and interpret cardiac strips with support from monitor techs
• Manage patients on CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen
• Care for post-procedural cardiac patients, including groin site management and post-MI care
• Adapt to different unit environments and patient populations with 2-hour advance notice of assignments
• Document all care accurately in Cerner system

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of PCU experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in titrating multiple cardiac drips
• Strong cardiac strip interpretation skills
• Flexibility to float between campuses (20-25 minutes apart) and various units
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% prior to contract (2 attempts maximum)
• Must live outside 50-mile radius
• No Common spirit Health employment within past year

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current, active Arizona RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
