The work is varied and stimulating, covering pre-project studies and early phase engineering design for greenfield developments, brownfield upgrades and operations support, onshore and offshore. The role requires the engineer to develop solutions for various systems including: conveyors and material handling equipment; rotary and all process equipment; pumps, tanks and piping; flow sheets; mass balancing; as well as specialized mechanical design problems, and oversee the installation and commissioning of these solutions.


The Role:


  • Process simulation, flow assurance analysis, design calculations and technology evaluation;
  • Interaction with other disciplines to ensure robust solutions;
  • Interfacing with clients through progress meetings, presentations and site visits;
  • Assisting with development of work plans, schedules and estimates for execution of complete studies or projects;
  • Ensuring process specifications portrays the appropriate information and design intent;
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing process engineering standards.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Chemical Engineering degree;
  • 0-2 years experience in process engineering, preferably with some exposure to upstream oil and gas facilities;
  • Ability to work in a multi-discipline team to develop solutions focussed on client objectives;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills,
  • Enthusiasm for facilities engineering and the desire to develop abilities in study management.
