KOS International Limited - Associate Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Design and approve AC-side system architecture, including PCS, MV transformers, and switchgear.
- Grid Interfacing & Compliance: Serve as the primary technical lead for all interactions with State Grid. Manage the grid connection process, from design review to final approval and commissioning.
- Client Management: Work directly with clients and project owners to understand their needs, present technical solutions, and build strong relationships.
- Project Support: Provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility to on-site commissioning and grid connection.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in power systems, renewable energy, or BESS, with 3+ years in a lead engineering role.
- Proven track record of successfully connecting multiple large-scale BESS projects (>50MWh) to the grid in China is essential.
- Deep understanding of State Grid technical standards, interconnection procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience liaising with grid dispatchers and clients.
- Professional Engineer license or experience in a power design institute is a strong plus.
