Sterile Processing Technician Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a hospital or clinical setting
  
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or CRCST preferred)
  
• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control standards
  
• Ability to work evening shifts and occasional weekends
  
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment per hospital protocols
  
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management
  
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to ensure timely clinical support and availability of sterile supplies
  
• Perform quality checks on instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning
  
• Follow all safety and infection control guidelines in the hospital environment
  
• Participate in weekend call rotation as required
